Young Dads Camp July

Mid way through our pilot program it was a good time to gather the boys together for some time in the bush. We held our YDG camp in the far region of west Auckland and were treated to some fujn times out doors in the rain and cold, we also got to spend more time with the Dads warm inside. We had the honor of working through a DVD called "In your Hands" put together by the Great Fathers organisation. www.greatfathers.org.nz.
The young Dads got to share their own experiences and learn from each other in different discussions on stress and time management.
It was a great weekend away. The boys were encouraged to keep learning and stay connected to the positive relationships. We also got to have fun and bond.
